At Britannia Royal Naval College

  • The opportunity to visit Britannia Royal Naval College with a small number of guests.
  • A personal membership card to allow access to Britannia Royal Naval College and its facilities subject to prior arrangement. For security and access availability, all Britannia Association members are required to notify the Britannia Association office on 07415 850 619; 01803 677565; 93749 7565 or admin@britanniaassociation.org.uk 48 hours in advance of their proposed visit

 

Membership allows access to Britannia Royal Naval College and its facilities including :

  • Honours Boards for Founder Life Members in the College
  • Britannia Royal Naval College as a reunion venue
  • Your wedding in the College Chapel subject to ecclesiastical law
  • Your child(s) Christening in the College Chapel
  • Wedding drinks receptions on the Quarterdeck
  • Access to archives for personal research (e.g. class lists, photos, records)
  • Sports Amenities subject to the purchase of a College Amenities Pass. Astroturf, Tennis Courts, Gym, Fitness Suite and Swimming Pool – all available throughout the year except for the pool, which is limited to opening times during the term due to Health & Safety
  • Dining in the Wardroom of Britannia Royal Naval College with prior notice
  • College ball tickets on application
  • Second Hand Uniform.

 

 

Eligibility

The Britannia Association – “The Global Alumni of Britannia Royal Naval College”

Membership to the Britannia Association is open to and encourages support from

  • Any serving officer of any section of the Naval Service
  • Any retired officer of any section of the Naval Service
  • Any Reserve Service officer of the Naval Service
  • Any Royal Fleet Auxiliary Officer who has trained or served at Britannia Royal Naval College for more than 10 days. 
  • Any officer of a Foreign Naval Service who has served at Britannia Royal Naval College for more than ten days
  • Any officer from the Army or Royal Air Force who has served at Britannia Royal Naval College for more than ten days
  • Any civilian victualled in the wardroom who has served at Britannia Royal Naval College for a period of more than ten days
  • Widows and widowers of officers of the UK Naval Service

Your membership, underpins the Britannia Association’s charitable aims and objectives, making a positive contribution to the development of the current era of young naval officers – “giving something back”.

The Britannia Association welcomes the donation of uniform for onward sale with the proceeds going towards funds for future grants within Britannia Royal Naval College.

Delivery and collection of items can be arranged through the Britannia Associaition Office.
